I started this blog at age 33 when I was 60lbs overweight. I was following a low carb/high protein diet that I absolutely loved and obtained fantastic results. (Ideal Protein blog posts) However, it wasn't sustainable throughout my second pregnancy and I gained a lot of weight back.
After my second child, I joined a program through work called Retrofit and learned how to lose weight eating real food in regular portions and change my mindset about weight loss, exercise and what being healthy truly means.
My objective is to get to my goal weight/size, whichever is more accurate, and then maintain it. I plan to use this blog as a record of my journey back to finding myself...to recover my health...and to get back the parts of my life that I have let being overweight steal from me.
