And So It Begins...

The beginning of what I call the "best and most stressful part of my life."  It's this weird blend of hating my life and wanting to quit my job for 4 days and then on Thursday night, when I realize that I don't have to work for 3 days, I am beyond happy.  By August, I will be numb from Monday - Thursday, just going through the motions.  My body will think it has recovered from the week by the end of Friday but in reality I don't fully recover from 4/10s until some time in September, and then I miss having 3-day weekends and can't wait until the summer starts again.

So here's hoping that I make it through the summer and continue my 5k training and IP diet. I am hoping that by the end of the summer I will be ready to run my entire 5k and will be in maintenance with IP.
