Weigh In: Week ???
I don't even know...with Physical Therapy 3x a week to fix my back I have no idea what week of weigh in I should be on. I went to pick up my supplies on Thursday after PT and there is a new bar--a cookie dough bar. It's actually really good!
So, we did an unofficial weigh in...I have gained 1lb on the official scale since August 12th. So that's a total of just about 6lbs on the official scale since the start of 4/10s the first week of June. I still fit into everything however not all of it feels as comfortable as it did back in that first week of June...
I need to refocus myself. I have about 6 weeks until my daughter's 2nd birthday. If I get to 50lbs down on the official scale by her birthday, I will be happy. If I can get to 50lbs on my scale I will be happy!!!! heck, I'm already happy! But I'd like to get back to where I was 3 months ago. Oh and I would also like for my back to not hurt so I can start running again. UGH!
Now to figure out when I want to go 100% on IP...I plan on eating crabs this weekend(no, I didn't mean to write carbs--Crabfest is on Sunday) and eggplant (a phase 1 no-no) but there will be a lot of veggies and things I can eat to help fill me up so I don't want to eat too much eggplant and chips and dips and bread with red peppers....ugh....
In other news, we had the CVD Screening at work yesterday. One of the things I was excited about was seeing how much weight I lost from November of last year. (I gained a few pounds over the holidays before starting IP so I wasn't sure how much I weight in November--I was still running and dieting with no success).
I have lost 35lbs. But the scale they use breaks it all down and I found this very interested.
I lost 20lbs in my trunk area but my muscle mass stayed the same, which means I lost 20lbs of FAT. My arms stayed the same weight but dropped in FAT% and so did my legs. I am down 3" in my waist but the guys measured a little crooked and not quite in the right spot (and I'm still down about 9" where I am measured for IP--across the belly button) And my body fat dropped 10% while my muscle mass stayed about the same, which proves that IP works at burning the fat and keeping the muscle.
I just tried on a bunch of what I like to call "professional clothes" for my new job. I feel fancy. I cannot wait. But another 5lbs would make them all feel a little more comfortable...first goal, take off the summer weight by the end of September.
And here's a little something to keep me on track..,
