"Falling" into a Routine
FINALLY, after an ultrasound and some visits to physical therapy, it turns out that my side pain is from a tight band running from my ribs to my hip. A few sessions at physical therapy took care of it.
And then I had a mindset shift. I started eating foods that I thought were bad for me--you know like cheese and nuts and fruits. And my appetite changed. And I'm down almost 15lbs--10 in the last month. It's really amazing how changing your mind about something can change your results.
I feel fantastic--healthwise.
Things have been really stressful at work and with the renovations at home. The kids have been fighting colds or the flu. I know that some of that stress has played into my weight-loss but I'm not sure how--usually when I'm stressed I gain weight.
For now I'm going to just keep plugging along. I'm getting closer and closer to my goal. Another 15lbs and I'll be back to where I was 3 years ago!
That's all for now--I will post more later when I have more time.
