"I went to a party on a Saturday night..."
So we went to a party last night. I consider this to be the ultimate test of my will power. There was home brewed beer...wings, artichoke dip (I made it and I can't even eat it!), shrimp and cocktail sauce, and a veggie platter with nice creamy dip.
And I had...one celery stick. We were there for almost 3 hours. I ate dinner before we went so I wouldn't be starving and tempted.
While I really wanted to have a beer, I also trained myself not to drink for 9 months when I was pregnant so it wasn't too hard to deny myself a tasty beverage.
The wings smelled amazing. And they weren't just buffalo wings...there were some kind of garlic something something yummy somethings. And my artichoke dip...I love my dip. I had to have my husband try to to make sure it was good!
So in the end, I made it. I got home and had my chocolate shake for dessert. I was really hungry by the time we got home, but it was after midnight and I usually have my evening snack before 9pm.
I'm currently attempting to make zucchini chips. So far I'm on my second tray. I am trying different temperatures and times to see if I can make them crispy without burning them.
