Weigh In: Week 3

So this week started off with a cleanse and I lost 4lbs.  I gained back some of that once I started eating more than a green drink, shake and water.  But, I am actually surprised because I only gained back part of it back.  So I'm right back where I was at week 2 but down in inches.

Since 6/4/2016

Weight: -1.8lbs
Inches: -6.25 total (arms, legs, stomach,hips)


I feel like the cleanse gave me a good reset, even if I didn't finish it.  I need to focus on the positive!!

Overall it was a really busy week and very stressful and I tend to turn to food in times of stress--or I make the wrong decisions when I'm stressed, tired or short on time.

This coming week, I return to work full time.  I can't believe how quickly the time went and our little baby is 7 months old.



I'm really struggling with the return to work.  Yes, I have been back since February, 3 days a week, but I had a good thing going with having 2 days a week alone with the baby.  Laundry was always done and the house would get a mid-week cleaning.  Since the weekends are so busy with the renovation upstairs and entertaining both kids, those 2 days were a break that allowed me to keep the house running, dishes done, laundry done and my brain from exploding.

And now it's over.

I am a little sad about leaving the baby.  I'm really stressed out about working full time and momming full time when I'm not home for 9.5 hours of the day.  I'm also concerned about how this will impact my health goals because, as I mentioned above, I stress eat/snack and make bad choices when I'm tired and out of time.

I can't wait to be on the other side of this week.  The nice thing is that I have a 3-day weekend and then a 3-day week to recover!!
