The Tape Measure is My (and Your) Friend

As I mentioned in my post Slightly Obsessive I kept measurements back in 2001 when I was at my thinnest in both weight and size since high school.

I decided it was time to pull out those measurements for August 2001 and November 2001 to see where I stand.   (And I realized that I transposed some numbers back in February so I had more than 2" to lose in my chest--it was more like 5".)

I am 10lbs more than I was in August 2001 (although I'm starting to wonder if my scale was reading lower, because I do recall that I always weighed about 8lbs less on my scale than I did on my doctor's scale...more on that later)

Chest: -1 (as in 1 inch smaller than 8/2001)
Waist: +.25 (as in .25 bigger than 8/2001)
Hips:  +1
Arms: -.5
Thighs: -.25

So as you can see, I'm almost the same size that I was in August 2001.  I remember feeling pretty awesome so since I was 22 and single back then and now I'm 33 and married with a baby, it's kinda awesome to say "yea, I'm the same size I was when I was 22".

Three months later (November 2001), I had lost 12lbs and some more inches...Wish I knew what I had been doing back then to lose that weight!  Oh wait!  I moved back home (from the dorm), wasn't working as an intern (not eating the cafeteria food) and most of my friends had graduated so I worked and went to school...Um, Mom?  Got room for me?  heheh

I am 22lbs more than I was in November 2001 (or maybe it's 12 for reason stated above)

Chest: +2
Waist: +3.25
Hips:  +3
Arms: +.5
Thighs: +.25

So I'm thinking that maybe another 15lbs (on my scale) will be quite alright with me.

I guess I should have titled this entry "Slightly MORE Obsessive Than Before"
