Finding ME.
So.
Here I am. In 2004. They were my "before" pictures. I was going on a 6 week body makeover diet with my parents.
I thought I was fat. I was probably 160lbs. (That is a lot less than what I weigh now)
Fast forward...I lost 16lbs and maintained that until Spring 2006.
I think this is summer 2004.
And then...
I started gaining weight...I had to buy all new clothes...I was starting a new job in the summer of 2006. I thought I was fat because nothing fit me. It was as if someone shrunk all of my clothes. (shaking my head, I can't believe I thought I was fat here. I was MAYBE 165lbs?)
And then I kept gaining until I had gained about 35lbs...
And then 40lbs.
And I started working out and joined weight watchers. I lost 8lbs.
I don't know who that person is...
OK actually I do. It's me. 25lbs heavier than that skinny girl in the tank top and 32lbs lighter than the girl in the orange shirt and 25lbs lighter than the girl who ran the 5k.

I was so excited to fit into these pants. (By the way, I'm wearing those pants right now and they are loose.)
And then I put back on the 8lbs...and another 9lbs.
And I started working out again. I lost the 9lbs.
In the picture above I felt so good but I couldn't lose more than the 9lbs.
Then we decided to try for a baby. I lost 6lbs. I gained 20lbs. I got pregnant. I had gained almost 60lbs since 2006 and I was pregnant.
I gained 30lbs during pregnancy. I lost 38. Then I gained 8. Then 7 more. And I honestly don't have any good pictures of me during that time. I pretty much hid behind a baby carriage or big clothes.
I spent the summer training for a 5k. I was eating 1200-1500 calories a day and doing Couch to 5k 3 times a week.
I managed to lose 8lbs? I was back at my "just got pregnant" weight, but I wasn't pregnant. And I was bigger--I couldn't fit into any of my pre-pregnancy clothes.
By reading this blog, you know that I started Ideal Protein on January 11, 2013. I've lost about 25lbs in the last 2 months.
I had a chance to pull out another tote of clothes tonight. It was the tote of jeans/pants that I tossed together when I was pregnant in 2011...I knew I wasn't going to wear them and I hadn't been able to fit into any of them since some time in 2008.
The pants I am wearing in the picture below haven't fit this way since Fall 2006/Spring 2007. They're actually big.

Looking back at the last few pictures and the pictures from tonight...If I hadn't taken them I wouldn't believe they were taken AFTER I had a baby...I just can't believe how quickly this diet is working and how the fat is just...disappearing?
I think that's all for tonight. Weigh in tomorrow!!! Hope to make an official 25lbs!!!
