SNACKS!
So, I love Sunday because Sunday is the food shopping day! I get to restock the house with the foods I loved this week and add things that I've found recipes for over the last few days.
Since the baby was napping, I decided to experiment with this week's find--Kale chips.

They were really lovely. In fact, I made 2 batches. One was a roasted garlic recipe and the other was a curry and onion experiment. Both were successful.
I haven't stepped on the scale. No cheats today or yesterday so I'm happy. I still feel pretty good. This is the new normal though, so it's hard to determine if this is how I've always felt or I haven't forgotten how crappy and tired I used to feel...yea, I think I have forgotten.
I have much more energy and have been much better at getting things accomplished.
And my healthy eating has rubbed off on my husband, who is now paying more attention to what he eats and joining me on my weight loss journey. He's not following the IP diet (although he has been eyeing my chocolate shakes in the morning) but he is thinking about his breakfasts and lunches for work so that's a huge start.
Ok. Off to make dinner!
